Up Lift
Up Lift is a strength-training app for iPhone.
Plan workouts, log sets and reps, review your training history, track body metrics, and export your records. Up Lift keeps your training in an account only you can read.
Log the set, then put the phone down.
Tap the set to log it and the rest timer is already there. No modal, no save button, and nothing lost if you put the phone down halfway through a session.
It already knows what you lifted last time.
Every exercise carries its own history. Last session sits right next to today's entry, so progressive overload is a decision you make in one glance instead of a search.
Your data is yours, and you can walk out with it.
Every set is written to a private database on your phone and backed up to your own signed in account, so a new phone restores it. Nothing is sold, no advertising, no data brokers and no tracking across other apps. Export the lot to CSV, Markdown or JSON whenever you like.
Questions people actually ask.
What will it cost?+
Pricing is not settled yet. Whatever it turns out to be will be written here plainly before anyone is asked for money.
Android?+
Not yet, and not soon. Doing one platform properly is the whole point. If enough people ask, it moves up the list, and the request page is where that gets counted.
What happens if I change phones?+
Sign in on the new phone and your workouts restore from your account. You can also export everything to CSV, Markdown or JSON through the share sheet at any time, so nothing is ever trapped inside the app.
Does it tell me what to train?+
No. It records what you did and shows you what you did last time. Choosing the programme is your job, and handing that to an algorithm is not something we are interested in building.
When will it be available?+
Up Lift is not submitted to the App Store yet. People on the waitlist receive one planned manual email when it is ready to install.
Get in while it can still change.
It is not on the App Store yet, which means there is still time to change it. People on the list receive one planned manual email when the app is ready to install. It is not a newsletter.
